What a fabulous post - and even more fabulous maps! I like them both, but the second one is an absolute work of art - it's glorious. As a dyed-in-the-wool disorient I have a love/hate relationship with maps - in that I love maps but hate that I'm so bad at using them - and I always enjoy reading about them! 🗺️
Thanks Jacquie for sharing your good news, and best of uck with the trilogy! And maps.
As you asked for reader feedback (and please note I am probably not that representative of the ideal reader, owing to my vision issues), I actually prefer the first map over the more snazzy second one, for the simple reason that I can read the words on the first and not on the second. The contrast is better. Generally, I prefer maps to be as a simple as possible, black and white, but that is just me. I'm sure the majority of readers will appreciate the more artistic one, but I felt it worth mentioning in case there are other people in the same boat as me. Have a nice week and keep up the great work! CD
Great map, Jacquie. Scythians so satisfying a focus. Look forward to all that comes next. 👉🏻⭐️
Ooo, maps! I like them both!
I love old maps and often read them as I would read a book - for hours. Your new old map is perfection. Thanks for sharing it with us,Jacquie.
This is so cool. And I agree with Lausanne that both of the maps were very well done.
I love maps in books. Both of these are great, but that second one is beautiful!

That map is really nice! Wishing you the best in publishing your book!
I love the map, Jackie. I love the contours of the mountains. It's so easy to read. It's absolutely beautiful.
So very, very cool! Love the new map, Jacquie!
Both maps are great. Maybe put one in the first book and one in the second book. Youkll think of something for the third I’m sure!
