Strongly suspect the spirit of the ancestral stones are still echoing within, as I still believe this: ‘the ancients thought the cosmos needed a little help from mankind to work properly’. What I love most about Stonehenge (apart from the mystery) is just how far those massive stones had to travel. Happy midwintering.
This is very interesting. I don't think anyone will ever know for certain what the real purpose was behind these tombs. Better educated minds than mine will have theories which make sense but still how can anyone be sure what the intention of the builders were. There's always room for differing speculations though.
Looking forward to your last chapter. Love the book. So interesting and different and entertaining to read. Hope you have a great New Year!
Thanks for posting that thought-provoking article. The pictures are great. There was a time, prior to July 6, 2022, when I believed that future archeologists would conclude that the Georgia Guidestones were a place of worship. Now that they have been blown up, I am convinced that future archeologists will conclude that Americans worshipped at Walmart.
Incredible! Thank you so much for infuriating that bus full of tourists to take pictures of the carvings. ;) I’m always amazed and intrigued by how ancient peoples all over the world made structures like these with such precision. Have you ever been to America’s Stonehenge?
Beautiful post - really fascinating! And those SPIRALS.....!!!! Fantastic pics.

Wonderful piece! Happy Solstice.

Fascinating stuff. It's amazing how well preserved these ancient structures are.
Love the photos. Making those tourists wait was worth it! And I also enjoyed the article. Fascinating topic.
Loved my visit to Newgrange! Thanks for posting this and the pics.
