Not at all. It just lends a weight to its validity. It's the kind of writing I would like to do but can't.

Thank you, I appreciate that very much. (and the advice, too :-) Sometimes I wish I could write more like those whose style I admire, but I know it would never end up sounding like me. There's probably a reason I can't write that way and it feels unnatural... because for me, it is.
